SIKKIM -THE LAST SHANGRILA
SHANGRILA TREK (11 days, 10 nights )
Day 1: Arrival Bhadrapur, transfer to Gangtok by Bus/Jeep Overnight stay at Norkhill Hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Tshangu Lake and back to Gangtok, (all trekking permits have to be done this day) O/N at Norkhill.
Day 3: Drive to Yuksam (Alt.5840ft.), O/N at Tashi Gang Hotel.
Day 4: Trek begins, trek to Bakhim (Alt.9000 ft.) Night halt at trekker?s hut or at Camp.
Day 5: Trek to Dzongri (Alt.12600 ft), night halt at Trekker?s hut or at Camp.
Day 6: Early morning trek to View Point, one can view Mt. Pandim in a close range and after breakfast day excursion of Dzongri, night halt at trekker?s hut at Dzongri.
Day 7: Trek back to Tshoka, night halt at Tshoka.(trekker?s hut).
Day 8: Trek back to Yuksom, night halt at Hotel Tashi Gang.
Day 9: After breakfast drive to Pelling, after lunch local SS of Sanga Tsholing Monastery & Pemayngtse Monastery, night halt at Norbu Gang Resort/Norbu Gang Hotel.
Day10: Drive to Bagdogra airport, fly to New Delhi. Or drive to Nepal Border overnight halt at Nepal.
Day11: Drive to Bhadrapur airport and fly to Katmandu.
GOCHELA TREK (15 Days, 14 nights)
Day 1: Arrival Bhadrapur, transfer to Gangtok by Bus/Jeep Overnight stay at Norkhill Hotel.
Day 2: Drive to Tshangu Lake and back to Gangtok, after lunch drive Rumtek Monastery, seat of the H.H. Karmapa, Monastery was built by the 4th Chogyal (King) of Sikkim. After the exile from Tibet His Holiness the 16th Gyalwa Karmapa settled and lived in this monastery till the completion of the Dharma Chakra Center which is International Head quarter of the Karmapa Kargyu Center. (All trekking permits have to be done this day) O/N at Norkhill.
Day 3: Drive to Yuksam (Alt.5840ft), which is the seat of Sikkim?s first capital. This is the place where the first King (Chogyal) was consecrated. Winding roads take through forests and scattered villages, crossing over two major rivers of Sikkim: Teesta and Rangit, O/N at Tashi Gang Hotel.
Day 4: Trek begins at Yuksom, ascending gradually and crossing three streams. A steep climb begins to Bakhim (Alt.9000 ft.), after the last stream. Night halt at trekker?s hut or at Camp. (Bakhim)
Day 5: Trek to Dzongri (Alt.12600 ft), passing through rhododendron forests, one can come across wild animals such as languor monkey, deer, colorful pheasants and Himalayan Black Bear. Night halt at Trekker?s hut or at Camp.
Day 6: Trek from Dzongri to Thansing. Camp or trekker?s hut at Thangsing
Day 7: Trek Thansing to Zemathang/Samiti Lake, night halt at Samiti. (Trekker?s hut).
Day 8: Trek to Gochela and back to Samiti, night halt at Samiti.
Day 9: Trek back to Thangsing, O/N Thangsing.
Day10:Trek Thansing to Phedang.O/n at Phedang (Camp).
Day11: Trek to Bakhim, O/N at Bakhim.
Day12:Trek to Yuksam, O/N at Hotel Tashi Gang.
Day13: After breakfast drive to Pelling, after lunch local SS of Sanga Tsholing Monastery & Pemayngtse Monastery, night halt at Norbu Gang Resort/Norbu Gang Hotel.

Day 1: Arrival Bhadrapur, transfer to Darjeeling by Bus/Jeep Overnight stay at Mayfair/Elgin Hotel.
Day 2: Sight seeing at Darjeeling. Overnight stay at Mayfair/Elgin Hotel.
Day 3: Drive to Tiger Hill after breakfast drive to Pelling,O/N at Norbu Gang Resort/Hotel.
Day 4: Drive to Yuksam, Tashiding & back to Pelling.
Day 5: Drive to Gangtok via Temi tea garden, O/N at Norkhill Hotel / Chumbi Residency.
Day 6: Drive to Tshangu lake & back to Gangtok, afternoon free. O/N at Norkhill Hotel / Chumbi Residency
Day 7: Drive to Phodong & Labrang monastery, after lunch drive to Rumtek Dharma Chakra Center. O/N at Norkhill Hotel / Chumbi Residency
Day 8: Drive to Kalimpong, O/N at Silver Oaks Hotel.
Day 9: Sight seeing at Kalimpong. O/N at Silver Oaks Hotel.
Day10:Drive to Bagdogra airport, fly to New Delhi. Or drive to Nepal Border overnight halt at Nepal.
